7/22/2010 U.S. Recovered Paper Consumption Rose 6% Over Same Month Last Year
According to the June 2010 Recovered Paper Monthly Report published today by the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA), total U.S. industry consumption of recovered paper was 2.6 million tons, an increase from June 2009 of 6%. June consumption was essentially flat compared to May 2010. The U.S. consumed 8.2% more recovered paper in the first 6 months of 2010 than during the same period last year.

7/20/2010 Total Printing-Writing Paper Shipments in June Up 11% from 2009
According to the American Forest & Paper Association's June 2010 Printing-Writing Paper Report, total printing-writing paper shipments increased 11% in June compared to June 2009 – the eighth consecutive year-over-year (YOY) increase and the sixth double-digit YOY increase. Three of the four major printing-writing grades posted double-digit increases compared to last June, while the fourth was down one percent. U.S. purchases (shipments + imports – exports) of printing-writing papers also increased in June, up 4% YOY. Total printing-writing paper inventory levels edged down 2% from May 2010.

7/19/2010 JUNE 2010 PAPERBOARD REPORT
WASHINGTON, D.C. – According to the American Forest & Paper Association's June 2010 U.S. Paperboard Report released today, total boxboard production increased by 3.0% compared to June 2009, but 2.0% from last month. Year-to-date production was up 4.1% over 2009.

7/16/2010 U.S. Containerboard Operating rates for June reached their highest levels in 2010
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Forest & Paper Association released its June 2010 U. S. Containerboard Statistics Report today. For the eighth straight month, containerboard production rose over last year. Total production saw an increase of 47,100 tons or 1.7% over June 2009. Total production amounts decreased compared to May 2010, however the average daily production was up 1.6%. Year-to-date 2010 production has increased 10.6% over 2009. The containerboard operating rate for June 2010 rose 6.0 points over June 2009 to 96.7%.

7/16/2010 JUNE 2010 KRAFT PAPER SECTOR REPORT
WASHINGTON D.C. -- According to the American Forest & Paper Association's June 2010 Kraft Paper Sector Report released today, total Kraft paper shipments were 134.5 thousand tons, an increase of 10.7% compared to June 2009, and 8,400 tons higher than May 2010. Total inventory was 67.1 thousand tons, 1,100 tons less than last month.

6/22/2010 May 2010: Recovered Paper Report Total Recycled Paper Consumption Rose 7.1%
According to the May 2010 Recovered Paper Monthly Report published today by the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA), total U.S. industry consumption of recovered paper was 2.6 million tons, a 1.3% increase from last month, and an increase from May 2009 of 7.1%. Compared to the same five months of 2009, consumption is up 8.5%.

6/15/2010 U.S. Containerboard Statistics - May 2010
The American Forest & Paper Association released its May 2010 U. S. Containerboard Statistics Report today. For the seventh straight month, containerboard paper production has risen sharply when compared to last year. Total production saw an increase of 238,100 tons or 9.1% over May 2009. Total production amounts increased compared to April 2010, with average daily production up 0.3%. Year-to-date 2010 production has increased 12.6% over 2009. The containerboard operating rate for May 2010 rose 12.2 points over May 2009 to 95.2%.

WASHINGTON D.C. -- According to the American Forest & Paper Association's May 2010 Kraft Paper Sector Report released today, total Kraft paper shipments were 126.1 thousand tons, 11.7% increase over May 2009, but 800 tons less than April 2010. Total inventory was 68.2 thousand tons, 5,400 tons more than last month.
